Images are up for Regionals in the gallery section of the web. The Level 9/10 Regional Championships (Nor-Cal, So-Cal, Nevada, Utah and Arizona) competed in Temecula, CA. on April 1-2. Wildfire had a wonderful meet with 7 level 9 competitors qualifying to Western Nationals, and 2 Level 10 athletes qualifying to Nationals. Our level 10 team began with Natelle Gentile earning the regional championship on floor, and a silver medal on vault. Allyse Ishino won vault, bars, beam and the AA. Skye Gentile had a great beam routine and Matinee Masoomian took the silver on floor!
The level 9 team came on strong with Kim Napoli taking the Regional Championship, with a bronze on vault and beam. Stephanie Boardman came up with a silver on bars and a bronze on floor. Kaylee Harmon took the bronze on vault, and Shenandoah McNutt took the bronze on floor. Courtney Baron, Alecia Occhipinti , Christina Ruiz and Ashlyn Norbe had their highest scores on floor, and Cerise Witherby scored a 9.450 on beam! Great Job Girls!!!
